Kit Management - Kits can be created, inventoried, packaged and sent to submitters. Orders are created for each submitter and can be placed on back order, tracked during packing and shipment. Once kits are shipped, the submitter ordering the kit is automatically linked for demographic entry.

Specimen Receiving - This module is used to receive specimens into the laboratory and assign the laboratory specimen number to the specimen.

Demographic Entry - Demographic Entry is used to manually enter in demographics information or review and release information that has been scanned in from a scanner, entered from a web site, or imported via HL7. Previously entered demographics can also be modified.

Specimen Tracking - Track specimens around the lab instantly by retrieving with a find wizard. Virtually every field in the database can be used to locate specimens. This module is also used to create and export specimen batches to instruments.

Result Entry - Used to enter, view and release results for specimens retrieved by the find wizard. Specimen batches with instrument specific batching requirements can be created and modified with this module. Repeats on lowest percent specimens is performed automatically.

QA/QC - This module is used to generate and plot control charts for numerous QA/QC analyses. Charts can be display on the screen and saved for later analysis. Create a trend chart of performance for each instrument.

Instrument Interfacing - Automatically import results from a wide range of instruments. NeoMate™ can continually "scan" a directory for files to import. These files can also be imported at user definable times.

Case Management - This module tracks and automatically reminds of actions for results outside of normal ranges. Since this is an integrated function, there is no delay from the releasing of a result to the opening of a case for follow up.

Voice Recognition System (VRS) - Submitters can utilize a voice or tone activated phone system to retrieve released results.

Web Integration - Submitters can enter demographics and review specimen status and specimen results via a secure web site.

Setup- The Setup module allows for easy management of NeoMate™. In this module, the LIMS administrator can manage submitters, employees, tests, prices, projects, departments, permissions, instruments, priorities, etc.
