When Eastex Environmental Laboratory determined they needed to replace their current LIMS, they evaluated several different systems and found that ATL’s Sample Master^® LIMS best suited their laboratory data management needs.
 
Eastex Environmental Laboratory has realized many benefits since implementing Sample Master^® LIMS.  Their previous LIMS contained static reports, in which users had no control or creativity in the creation of reports, past the initial setup. With Sample Master^® LIMS, laboratory users now have full control of reporting.  Sample Master^® LIMS contains powerful, flexible reporting functions.  Over 7 dozen standard reports are included with Sample Master^® LIMS, which can all be modified to meet the laboratory’s reporting needs. Sample Master^® also allows an unlimited number of user definable custom reports to be created.
 
Also, invoicing has become a more efficient process after implementing Sample Master^® LIMS at Eastex Environmental Laboratory. Sample Master^® LIMS has integrated invoicing capabilities in the Sample Tracking module. Users can track analyses by customer, assign costs to particular tests and apply discounts and generate invoice reports directly from the LIMS. These reports can also be placed on the Task Manager and automatically printed when the results are completed and reported out.
 
Eastex Environmental Laboratory also utilizes Sample Master^® Result Point™.  Result Point™ is a secure, web portal where consumers (internal and external) can access reports generated by Sample Master^® LIMS and provides instantaneous access to real-time analytical results, from virtually anywhere, at any time of the day.  Result Point™ provides secure (encrypted) data access for laboratory clients with read only privileges down to the project level via the Internet where clients can download pdf reports or Excel files (Electronic Data Deliverables).
