Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a leading supplier of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and laboratory automation, announces that it has entered into an exciting partnership with the David H. Murdock Research Institute (DHMRI) to provide its Sample Master® Pro LIMS platform for use throughout its facilities at the North Carolina Research Campus.
Sample Master® Pro LIMS has been selected as the exclusive LIMS provider for the DHMRI to support all laboratories including Genomics, Metabolomics, Proteomics, Light Microscopy, Electron Microscopy and NMR. Sample Master® Pro LIMS will be used not only to manage data but to facilitate discovery by allowing the integration of data generated from separate core laboratories.
ATL’s Sample Master® Pro LIMS will provide the DHMRI with a highly configurable laboratory automation platform which can be configured to meet the dynamic data management requirements of the very diverse research laboratories located on the campus. The DHMRI / ATL partnership includes a technology sharing agreement that allows both organizations to leverage the LIMS technology innovations developed as part of this joint collaboration.
“To be involved in the groundbreaking research initiative that will result in major new discoveries in health and nutrition is truly exciting and we look forward to working alongside DHMRI and its technology and research partners at the North Carolina Research Campus”, said Dr. Christine Paszko, Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
"To carry out the mission of our institution", says Dr. Ken Russell, Chief Information Officer of the DHMRI, "we have to employ flexible, practical and clever technology solutions. ATL will play a vital role in helping us achieve our goal. ATL provides an agile laboratory automation platform that minimizes complexity while optimizing the user experience for our staff working on the front lines of scientific research. A significant element of Mr. Murdock’s vision is to enable technology solutions that foster collaboration between science and technology".
