Training - Advanced Report writing for Sample Master® LIMS
The ATL Advanced Report Writing Course was designed to cover all the key features for programmers to create sophisticated and professional looking reports. A user-friendly GUI that contains wizards allows rapid report development and previewing.
This is a 2-day course, resulting in a high degree of competence in reporting from Sample Master® LIMS. It employs a mixture of demonstration, experimentation and exercise to build appropriate skills. The course starts with a comprehensive introduction to the structure and operation of the reporting tool and continues with step-by-step guidance on creating report fundamentals. These elements build into comprehensive reports with a professional appearance suitable for submission to customers, internal partners or regulatory authorities. The course concludes with the student understanding how to create new reports as well as how to modify existing reports and how to manage and maintain those reports.

Upon completion of this course students will have:

  • Hands-on interaction through a user- friendly graphical user interface

  • The ability to rapidly generate reports using LIMS data

  • Use of data tables, chromatograms, calibration curves, text and graphics Experience in e-mailing reports in various formats including pdfs

Who should attend? Experienced Sample Master® LIMS users wishing to customize data reports. Intermediate programming skills required for this course and Report Writing 1 or Advanced LIMS Training (Boot Camp – 2 day class) is required. Waivers may be available with those that can demonstrate the appropriate programming skill set.
