Sample Master® Pro at AET Films:
AET Films maintains its technological and quality edge through automation with Sample Master® Pro LIMS in its Research and Development department. Flexibility, ease of customization, and affordability are just a few of the components of Sample Master® Pro which have benefited AET Films. AET Films operates an internal Research and Development laboratory to ensure high quality material testing. Some tests performed by AET include printability and product freshness. Sample Master® Pro LIMS keeps track of all samples received in the laboratory, with a full chain of custody, full audit trail, configurable reporting formats, user definable fields and a task manager to automatically execute user requested tasks such as printing backlog and production reports, importing instrument files, etc... Another important aspect of laboratory automation is instrument integration with the LIMS. Instrument integration has eliminated hours of hand data entry and potential transcription errors by allowing the direct integration of data output files of several analytical instrumentation such as compression/tensile test analyzers with the Electronic Data Transfer Module of Sample Master® Pro LIMS that facilitates the import data from the various instruments. Migration to the enterprise edition using Microsoft SQL Server did not require any re-training of end users, since the client portion or "front-ends" remain unchanged, thus resulting in a rapid deployment.
Sample Master® Pro LIMS has allowed AET Films to automate their data management, increase efficiency and share data with remote sites in real time.
“In the first ten months of use, we have accumulated over 400,000 data points. We are extremely confident in the security and the accessibility of our data in Sample Master® LIMS. We recently upgraded to Sample Master® Pro, solidifying our commitment to ATL and Sample Master® Pro LIMS.”
